Network Pacific has quit the strata management professional body Strata Community Association (SCA), amid AAA's investigation into numerous complaints of malpractice and non-disclosure.
Hot on the heels of the 7.30 Report which aired in April and which highlighted ethical issues with SCA NSW President Stephen Brell and his company Netstrata, relating to commission fees and exorbitant charges, AAA has now turned its sights to Network Pacific.
Dealing with numerous complaints including Network Pacific's refusal to hand over records, instructing lawyers without OC approval and intimidation of owners, AAA has compiled approximately 20 case studies which will be lodged with the Victorian Government for action.
AAA's CEO Ms Reece stated that she was aware that the SCA had received a range of complaints about Network Pacific, including from lawyers representing disgruntled OC's.
"The SCA has reprimanded Network Pacific for these cases but taken no further disciplinary action and now the firm has removed itself from the association's membership.
"This means that Network Pacific is able to operate without any negative repercussions, but our concern is that unsuspecting OC's will contract the strata management company without being fully aware of the long list of complaints."
