While presenting at the API National Conference in Queensland last October Samantha met Amy Degenhart who is championing small builds within QLD.
Taking a traditional house block, Amy was able to construct ten homes to replace the previous one, with each lot just 38sqm.
But contrary to popular belief, Amy’s designs have demonstrated that less is more.
The homes maximise every crook and cranny and plus are priced from just $298,000 which represents excellent value.
Samantha was so impressed that she has invited Amy to visit WA and attend a luncheon being hosted by Hon Peter Tinley MLA, Minister for Housing in early February.
