Opera Residences by Tzannes and Landream Property were recognised at the NSW Apartment Awards for Excellence both in the Precinct Rejuvenation and Luxury categories.
Awarded a Special commendation with Precinct rejuvenation, the judges were impressed how Opera Residences contributed both to the Macquarie Street as well as Circular Quay interface.
20 storeys high, with three levels of retail, the development reflected its ocean setting with the use of undulating glass, with the Macquarie Street entry both elegant and contemporary.
The development was also rightfully awarded the Luxury category.
Internally the dazzling views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge from the apartment balconies reinforced the iconic location and the stylish internal finishes plus resident amenities created an ambience that was bespoke.
Samantha Reece, CEO of AAA stated that it was exciting to see how a disused site had now become a showcase development within Circular Quay.
“The architecture of Opera Residences from an external point of view has created an eye-catching development which is recognisably so, from various viewpoints,” Samantha said.
“Couple this with the sophisticated internal finishings, it is befitting for this location and its worldwide iconic status.”
