Luxury highly contested

The Luxury category for the inaugural Queensland Apartment Awards for Excellence was hotly contested with six finalists including

  • Perspective Broadwater - Sherpa Property Group

  • Luna - FORME

  • Natura - Spyre Group and Bureau Proberts

  • Cabana - Ignite Projects/Plus Architecture

  • Rivière - Aria Property

  • Perspective 202 - Sherpa Property Group

The first winner for the luxury category embraced the beachfront, with the only dividing aspect to the uninterrupted views of Palm Beach, being the resident’s pool. The internal apartment floorplate which ran the entire length of the site ensured that every apartment had an ocean view and the internal minimalist design was both elegant and utterly stunning.

Congratulations to Cabana by Ignite Projects and Plus Architecture.

The second winner had an internal staircase that the architect was totally in love with, but the subtle use of granite, the level of luxury finishes, in particular the built in wardrobe and the 360 degree views that each apartment had along the coast made this apartment and especially the penthouse a clear winner. Congratulations to Forme for Luna.

And finally this project wowed the judges from the onset, with its distinctive entry point and 6 metre high ceilings, its smorgasbord of resident amenities, the internal finishes, the extensive landscaping and breathtaking views. The final winner for the luxury category was Rivière by Aria Property.
